Chelsea Field Garners High Praise in Early Response to Debut Single, "Things I Should've Said"

Departs today for multi-leg, 12-week radio tour

(Nashville, TN – May 10, 2010) Moxy Records recording artist Chelsea Field has received early positive reviews at radio and from critics alike for her high-energy debut single, "Things I Should've Said."

Produced by award-winning songwriter and producer Trey Bruce, "Things I Should've Said" recently earned the following high praise from renowned critic Robert K. Oermann in MusicRow: "She definitely has the vocal firepower to pull off this searing, sizzling rocker. Go, baby. You are coming in loud and clear."

Frank Bell, VP/Programming at WOGI in Pittsburgh, Pa., calls it "fresh, fun and Country. It'll sound great booming out of the speakers this summer!"

Field, whose Nashville home recently suffered significant damage in the Middle Tennessee floods, is departing today, May 10, on a multi-leg, 12-week radio tour in support of the new single. The first leg includes visits to stations in Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia and Indiana, among others.

"It's really hard to leave and go out on the road when there's so much devastation back home," Field says. "I'm trying to keep it in perspective and remember that there are so many others that are going through the same kind of thing, and all you can do is deal with it the best you can and try to move forward. For me, that means going back to work, and right now that means going out on the road."

Bruce, whose production credits also include Trace Adkins, Chris Ledoux and Rebecca Lynn Howard, produced one of the track's two dance remixes. Miami-based producer Eddie Mix produced the second remix. Both versions will be shipped to DJs and dance clubs across the country.

Video director Jeff Johnson (Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, Tim McGraw) wrapped up shooting on the video for "Things I Should've Said" in April.

"Working with Chelsea on ‘Things I Should've Said' was nothing short of amazing," says Johnson. "Chelsea is a true talent, and it shines through in this video. I think she has a huge hit on her hands, and I truly believe Country music will be adding a new talent to their community with this addictive song."

Field's full-length album is due out on new Nashville-based independent label, Moxy Records, in summer 2010.
